That is so awesome you are going to do your first comp!
The number one thing is to remember that it is all just fun. If you just ride because you love it and throw your favorite tricks you will always do better than trying too hard and stressing about how you are going to do.
See if you can figure out the set up before the comp, and work on some combos. Nailing an easier trick perfectly usually scores better than crashing on a harder trick.
Switch up your tricks- if you stomp a front board, change it up and do something different so the judges know you can do more than one trick!
