WELCOME TO THE AVALON7 COLLECTIVE MTNBLOG MAIN PAGE!
There really is nothing like getting blasted in the face with cold powder snow. It's funny, but I almost seem to forget how fun riding powder really is. I mean, I know it's fun, but then it snows 5 feet in a couple of days here in Jackson Hole, and then I remember that it is really, really, really fun.
It is days like this I am reminded why I have built my whole life around this place, this sport and those moments of white when time stands still...
Here are a couple GoPro frame grabs from yesterday... Thank you La Nina, I think I love you.
Thanks for reading,
Kinger
Fardrift team edit, we had a good season here's our video, check it out!
Jackson Hole opened for the 2011-12 season today, and what an opening it was. La Nina early season snowfall allowed the resort to open nearly the entire mountain to the masses of frothing powder maniacs.
I lapped the Gondola and Thunder nearly all day with an amazing crew of local shredders, including Cam Fitzpatrick, Blake Paul, Cam Walters, Dan and John Rodosky, and Rich Goodwin who was filming for the first FunBlock films webisode. (Dropping soon.) There was even a Lance Pitman sighting.
I figured I would share a couple epic moments from the day.
Stoked for tomorrow!
